Welcome to the autumn edition of the Primary ICT Newsletter
Well, I would like to say that the dust has settled after all the post-election upheaval but unfortunately I can’t! BECTA is now counting it’s last days and the government clawed back 50% of the last year of the Harnessing Technology funding. We all wait with baited breath for the October spending review and the November White Paper on Education to find out what will happen to LA services and school funding. In the meantime, I have been busy developing a new ICT course catalogue for 2010 – 11 and re-developing the ICT Development Plan to ensure that it sets the direction of travel for primary school ICT for the next three years (ever the optimist!).
